Printing and Framing
The printing and framing of my images is a critical part in the creation of my art.
Works On Watercolor Paper
I print certain select images on handmade watercolor paper, Hahnemuhle Torchon. This paper has a rich texture and yields deep, true black color tones. I print with archival pigments that penetrate and bond with the paper. I spray the print with a fine-art fixative to protect the surface from moisture and dust.
The print is then affixed to a rigid backing (Gator board) using a heat press and is mounted in a hardwood floater frame. I leave a reveal between the frame and the print to display the entire image.
Each print is signed and numbered. Typical edition are a 25 prints totaled over all sizes.
