Dusk at Hurricane Point

This is the "blue hour," the time after sun sets and the stars appear in the darkening sky. Hurricane Point is an exposed protrusion of rock on the Big Sur coast, a perfect vantage to view the end of the day and the appearance of the Milky Way as it begins to glow in the starry sky.
